Job Role and Responsibility





As the needs of our business continues to rapidly shift and transform, this role will be at the forefront helping lead our critical transformations. Our HR Business Partners have a pivotal role in driving business transformation, talent management and organization design and development. You will be responsible for diagnosing and solving complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions and driving change to achieve business outcomes. You will need to possess an in-depth and broad understanding of the business and bring enterprise-wide talent solutions to the table. This will require you to think big, connect dots across the Company, use data to guide, be comfortable testing the status quo, and be a thought leader for the business. You’ll partner with a cross-functional group of subject-matter resources, lead a team of HR Business Partners and partner with various teams within HR and across the business to design and execute shared operational and talent strategies. You will work side by side with our executives and leaders to get things done on a variety of talent and operational objectives.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Leads approaches to improve organizational, operational, and people strategies.
  • Applies consistent HR, talent management, and operational solutions to address specific business imperatives to positively impact operational performance.
  • Translates business strategies into actionable HR objectives and solutions to achieve business outcomes.
  • Draws upon other HR groups to deliver required expertise, resources, and services to drive customer / organizational imperatives in an efficient, streamlined and business-relevant way.
  • Builds executive relationships and influences through expertise, data and persuasion.
  • Identifies key stakeholders and fluently discusses the pros and cons of change.
  • Sophisticated and action-oriented communication skills; ability to plan, communicate and help execute large, complex changes.
  • Highly effective analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze financial, operational and workforce data, understand trends, and develop systemic recommendations for action using analytic frameworks.
  • Is comfortable and composed in situations in which the goals and / or processes to achieve objectives are unclear. Sets a path to enable the organization to confidently work through unclear circumstances.
  • Able to ask pertinent, probing questions of senior executives with relevance and professionalism.
  • Inspires trust through confidence, poise, respect for others and a commitment to inclusion and fairness in alignment with our core values
  • Comfortable both digging in to get things done and contributing to complicated operational discussions.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • 5-8 years of related human resource experience required – experience in supporting a technology/digital organization
  • Bachelor's degree required in a related, accredited field of study, including human resources, operations leadership, organizational development, adult training and education, or other business discipline
  • Up to 10% domestic travel required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Expert conflict prevention and resolution skills
  • Expert interviewing skills, including the ability to objectively and accurately gather facts in emotionally-charged situations
  • Experience leading transformational HR initiatives in a technology industry highly desired.
  • Proficient knowledge of adult development, learning, and performance improvement principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, diverse work environment
  • Proficient organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to meet demanding, evolving, and overlapping deadlines
