Working with limited supervision, the Loss Prevention Lead guides the team's operational LP procedures in order to reduce shrinkage, increase safety, and protect assets.   Associates in the role will oversee the development and work of the loss prevention specialists; ensure all assigned locations are audited quarterly, and oversee the LP process.    Associate will interact with his or her supervisor frequently during each work period. Nearly all but the most routine activities will require a supervisor’s advance approval.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

• Oversee 2-3 Loss Prevention Specialist

• Hire new Loss Prevention Specialist when growth requires it

• Assist in the investigations of employees and report and follow up on suspicious practices or invoices uncovered when auditing locations and reviewing DVRs footage.

• Collects, reviews and distributes the inventory report to the management team for weekly review.

• Manage the quarterly audit document and report monthly audits numbers

• Ensure audit score sheets are reported in a timely manner

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

• Accredited Bachelor’s in Business Management or related field required; at least one year of additional related experience may be considered in substitution

• 4 or more years of related experience required

• Work overtime as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members

• Expert ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals

• Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
