ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

 Although some work continues to be remote, this role is based at our corporate office in Grapevine, Texas. Fully remote or relocation is not possible.
•    Manage and develop the logistics planning, forecasting and analysis processes, including monthly reviews, quarterly business reviews, and budgeting and operating planning processes 
•    Gather, review and communicate fact-based insights into performance variances and trends
•    Coordinate and collaborate with teams to develop frameworks for automating key processes
•    Provide financial analysis and insights that are timely, accurate, insightful, and actionable
•    Communicate issues and concerns with operations and senior management when required
•    Responsible for creating and delivering high quality presentations to senior leadership
•    In partnership with internal and external customers, drive process strategies and improvements for all operations
•    Manage the daily activities of multiple analysts.
•    Manage freight cost efficiencies while maintaining high service levels.
•    Develop and utilize “report cards” to measure carrier performance.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
•    Must possess accredited Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation or other related field and at least 3 years experience in logistics (with 1-2 supervisory); at least 4 years of logistics management experience may also be considered.
•    Less than 10% domestic travel required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
•    Proficient understanding of project management skills, including a proven ability to work effectively with tight timelines, rigorous standards, and evolving and potentially overlapping priorities.
•    Strong knowledge base of the logistics industry and marketplace financial reporting specifics
•    Strong oral, written and presentation skills to deliver effective, confident, and results-oriented communications and presentations
•    Proficient understanding of office computers, including Microsoft Windows-based office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
•    Excellent analytical skills – assess, design and develop financial metrics to assist daily operations along with the ability to use trend analysis in a predictive fashion
•    Communicate effectively with all levels of management, coworkers, and service providers.
•    Proficient ability to analyze situations and opportunities of varying complexity and make related decisions of sustainable value to GameStop.
•    Proficient understanding of business mathematics and quantitative decision making, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and ratios, and the ability to calculate and compare potential profitability of various proposals
