Job Description



The Loyalty Marketing & Insights Associate, reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, will drive cross-title promotion and engagement.  Good balance of knowledge in email tools, how to activate and leverage data sets, audience segmentation. We are looking for someone who is logical who will audit our current sequencing journey. They will evaluate: How we build a thoughtful plan around email journeys, if they are effective, and how we can optimize new membership and retention. Knowledge of template design and overall email hygiene. Will work closely with the loyalty product team. 


  • Identifies and drives opportunities for scalable, cross-brand collaboration, building on learnings and best practices from customer insights and brand campaign tests
  • Inform the loyalty member cross-brand online experience, through personalization, A/B testing and consumer insights, in partnership with key loyalty and marketing stakeholders
  • Represents loyalty marketing in meetings and cross-functional alignments, partnering with brand team to ensure cohesive strategy and execution for loyalty integration across channels
  • Analyzes and interprets cross-brand performance to inform hindsight, in-season traction, and strategy in partnership with Business Analysis team
  • Manages multiple marketing partner relationships throughout the organization, including with central email and digital teams, to help drive execution on marketing campaigns
  • Manage the creative process, including creating briefs, working with creative services team on asset and guidelines development, and asset management
  • Develop targeted customer communication via digital channels (site, email, paid, mobile, etc.)
  • Helps consolidate, streamline, and standardize processes across the enterprise to maximize team effectiveness
  • Manages budgeting, opening POs, forecasting, and actualizing costs drive retention
  • Partner closely with insights & data science teams to analyze customer behavior, leverage those insights to identify customer segments for use in email marketing automation
  • Drive ongoing optimization through comprehensive A/B testing strategy, including developing best practices playbook, and socializing learnings across the team
  • Be obsessed with our email experience, always uncovering new opportunities for improvements, and being the internal expert on all things email
  • Craft insights-driven briefs that inspire our creative team to develop email communications that further our customer’s relationship with Ritual and deliver on our business objectives


  • Bachelor’s degree with a regionally accredited program or 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience or 7+ years for educational equivalency


  • 2-3+ years minimum driving Email, Loyalty/Rewards, CRM, and Retention Marketing
  • Strategic and Analytical thinking skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to glean insights from data and develop a story
  • Experience using logic and methods to solve difficult problems and derive effective solutions
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple detail-oriented projects and to meet deadlines
  • Proven skill in leading and working across multiple and distinct functional organizations (e.g., IT, International, Brands, Creative, etc.) in support of specific business priorities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to leverage large data sets to make data-driven decisions; experience with Excel is a plus
  • Prior digital experience required, specifically site marketing, as well as email campaign development and execution; experience leveraging personalization to drive customer experience and engagement
  • Proficient in Office Suite
