Job Description



  • Create and manage talent acquisition plans.  Coordinate mass hiring events, anticipate ongoing talent needs for regular and peak seasons, set and meet staffing goals.
  • Lead the HR team to establish a positive workplace culture focused on employee rewards. 
  • Assist management with resolving employee relations issues, including the approval of employee terminations or recommendations for appropriate corrective action in accordance with company policy, practice, philosophy, and all applicable laws.  Conduct timely investigations related to all areas of HR (discrimination, harassment, wage & hour issues, etc.)
  • Create productive cross-functional relationships with site leadership.  Build relationships throughout the building and the organization.
  • Partner with other departments/areas to plan and coordinate orientation and training, including loss prevention and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal employment laws and reporting requirements, as well as Company policies and procedures.  Assist, interpret and answer human resources policy and procedure questions from associates and management, including benefit and payroll questions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related business discipline required; Master’s degree preferred; PHR or SPHR preferred
  • At least 5 years of human resources and employee relations experience required.
  • Warehouse based human resources experience preferred.
  • Full knowledge of general HR including employee relations, recruiting, benefits, employment law, training, and compensation.
  • Working knowledge of Workday and Kronos preferred.
  • Proficiency in common business productivity applications including MSWord, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent group presentation/facilitation skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
