SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, Global Treasury leads a team of analysts to provide analysis and guidance for GME's capital structure.  The Sr. Manager also plays a key role in identifying & creating  efficiency enhancing , cost saving solutions and analysis  that benefit various business partners/ stakeholders. The Sr. Manager also routinely works with the international and domestic  team(s) to ensure all treasury operations are completing with accuracy and adheres to department and  company policies. In addition to technical and analytical expertise, the Sr. Manager possesses strong communication and planning skills and develops and leverages relationships with senior leaders throughout the organization, Interacts routinely with his or her supervisor as frequently or infrequently as needed, to receive guidance and feedback, but nearly all routine decisions may be made without a supervisor’s advance approval. Some non-routine activities may require a supervisor’s advance approval.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Leads GME’s US treasury debt and equity operations and analysis, as well as ad-hoc treasury projects

  • Responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining the Corporate (Global) cash flow forecasting function

  • Leads, develops and  / or works with Team to  implements treasury automation, process enhancement, and cost saving projects
  • Routinely interacts with and presents to GME Sr. Management providing analysis and insight into US treasury operations
  • Provides in depth analysis for all treasury related projects, debt, and other capital structure studies
  • Works closely with internal business partners to identify inefficiencies, areas for improvement, and joint project collaboration: IT, A/P, Stores, Tax, Payroll & Benefits, Merchandising and FP&A
  • Leads and develops a treasury team of 1 to 4 analysts/advisors/managers to accomplish departmental goals and initiatives
  • Acts as a back-up for overseeing the US day to day payment processing and depository/sweep, and investment operations
  • A role model in adhering to the Treasury team's expectations and guidelines; fulfilling team responsibilities; and demonstrating personal commitment to the team by being cooperative, collaborative, and flexible

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics from an accredited university required, MBA, CPA,CTP, a plus
  • 5-10 Years previous corporate treasury experience, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Advance knowledge of financial concepts and tools
  • Ability to link clearly for others the relationship between operational decisions and financial outcomes
  • Above average Excel, PowerPoint and proven expertise with data management tools. 
  • Statistical modeling skills a plus
  • Proficient ability to build others’ financial and operational decision-making acumen
  • Flexibility to work extended, non-traditional hours as needed during peak periods to meet deliverables
  • Proficient ability to work collaboratively and professionally across departments and supervisory levels
  • Working knowledge of employee development: talent assessment, competency-based development, motivation and reward
  • Working ability to effectively recruit, hire, coach, train, develop, retain, and redirect others as needed to produce a successful team
