SUMMARY

The Sr. Product Manager, Promotions will be responsible for helping redefine the Promotions strategy, systems, and processes at GameStop. He or she will make a significant impact on the long-term customer experience by driving promotional improvements both online and in-store.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Create and define the long-term strategy for promotions at GameStop
  • Identify gaps in current systems and solutions needed to address them at scale
  • Identify opportunities within currently manual processes and the path towards automation
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, merchant, and store teams to build and implement innovative solutions
  • Evaluate tradeoffs while prioritizing initiatives across the broader strategy
  • Collaborate with Marketing to best utilize available resources and effectively communicate promotions to customers
  • Use statistical modeling methods to estimate the impact of different promotional decisions and their effect on the business
  • Define new business procedures, evaluate resource requirements, and work with the larger team to implement these operational changes
  • Dig in deep to understand customer pain points and usage patterns to inform your product’s strategy and roadmap
  • Demonstrate technical depth that allows you to communicate with, understand, and earn the respect of engineers and data scientists
  • Consider multiple objectives at once, balancing platform quality and customer success metrics to identify the best solution
  • Confidently navigate knowns and unknowns leveraging data, your experience, and instincts to guide your efforts in creating a phenomenal customer experience
  • Identify key input and output metrics which will inform how you measure and monitor your product’s performance
  • Actively advise, mentor, and develop other team members to build functional and strategic capability

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree with a regionally accredited program within a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant business and product experience
  • 2+ years’ experience working on data-driven products
  • An owner’s mindset and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Analytical skills with demonstrated ability of turning data insights into product improvements and new experiences
  • Strong communications skills in both written and verbal domains

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field
  • Experience with SQL and/or BigQuery
