SUMMARY

Working under general supervision, the Human Resource, Specialist coordinates the end-to-end processes including but not limited to onboarding, new hire orientation, offboarding of associates and talent administration.  An associate in this position may interact with his or her supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with creation of job requisitions
  • Tracking all talent pre-onboarding activities, assisting with related written and oral communications
  • Coordinating the accurate, timely completion of new-hire correspondence, schedule new-hire onboarding, send invites and communications to candidates
  • Liaison with Customer Care Talent Manager to ensure Customer Care related new-hires activities are included and completed within the weekly process
  • Coordinating new-hire onboarding activities; through effective collaboration between the corporate Human Resource team, including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Technology team, and hiring managers
  • Coordinate the end-to-end processes of the new hire orientation
  • Assist with weekly hiring meetings and tasks within Workday, including but not limited to, federal I-9 processes
  • Coordinate correspondence and assist with benefit webinars, new-hire communications internally, and with Hiring Managers
  • Coordinate with corporate travel with related activities for new-hire travel setups 
  • Manage new-hire portal within Learning Management System
  • Assist with duties assigned by HR Business Partners
  • Data and report analytics and preparation
  • Develop and send training and onboarding communications to newly hired associates
  • Coordinates exist-interviews with the HR Business partners and hiring managers
  • Create weekly termination report
  • Interpret and answer Human Resources policy and procedure questions for associates

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree with a regionally accredited program or 3+ years relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years of successful, related experience as a Human Resource Specialist, Recruiting Specialist or Coordinator required — 5 or more years preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient ability to communicate effectively spoken and written
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficient knowledge and Workday experience
  • Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
  • Ability to recognize discrepancies/errors in written/recorded data/information including the ability to initiate and respond to work errors in a professional manner, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others
