SUMMARY

The Site Merchandising Specialist will work to optimize merchandising on the product landing pages, category pages, and marketing landing pages.  This position works under general supervision, interacting with his or her supervisor several times per week. Some decisions may require a supervisor’s advance approval.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Responsible for developing and executing programs to support online sales growth, as well as manage daily operations.
  • In partnership with Omnichannel Visual Merchandising Manager, develop and implement .com merchandise strategies to drive sales.
  • Responsible for optimizing and improving categorization, attribution and tagging of select departments.
  • This position will analyze and leverage customer information and behaviors to prioritize the most critical actions necessary to improve the customer research/shopping experience.
  • Curate and maintain links for content including Emails, Homepage, onsite creative content.
  • Optimize navigation and onsite search for optimum conversion.
  • Research industry trends and provide competitive analysis to identify white space and opportunities online.
  • Provide insights on the business to drive results and act on business opportunities.
  • Leverage online analytics to improve customer experience and key metrics (i.e., traffic, conversion, bounce rate, add to bag & bag abandonment).
  • Collaborate with both external and internal groups like marketing, creative, and merchandising to support business unit strategies and goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree with a regionally accredited program or 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of related experience or 7+ years for educational equivalency
  • 3+ years of site merchandising experience is required.  
  • Basic understanding of SEO keywords and concepts is required.
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform experience is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in site analytics if required.
  • Strong computer skills: proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge of Excel.
  • Previous experience working with digital assets and related asset management tools required.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Working knowledge of basic HTML, FTP, and file editor applications
  • Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to interpret data and make subsequent decisions and recommendations.
