Working under general supervision, the Supply Chain Software Analyst will work on assignments that enable our warehouses to run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The Supply Chain Software Analyst works closely with stakeholders to understand their business processes and how that is supported throughout the application portfolio.  The analyst serves as a subject matter expert, performing hands-on configurations, enhancements and research as well as coordinating closely with the development team and third-party partners for more complex enhancements and changes.  The analyst also participates in support activities, providing guidance and direction to the support team as well as actively engaging in escalated issues requiring more hands-on assistance.  The primary business outcome from the analyst excellent customer service through a mastery of the core toolsets, processes and procedures and consistent completion of work assignments on an independent basis.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure stability in the production environment via a strong commitment to quality in all solutions.  This includes establishing necessary monitoring and support of information systems.  This also includes close coordination with the support team and participation in problem resolution as required.

• Oversee the stability and reliability of the application portfolio for existing and future warehouse system applications through collaboration with the support team as well as hands-on contributions.

• Operate within Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe) to deliver on system changes and enhancements as required by the business.

• Apply problem solving skills directly related to Supply Chain Systems software and assets.

• Leads complex system investigations and research activities for complex problem solving.

• Assist Quality Assurance in testing and remediating defects

• Work collaboratively with others within and outside of his or her function to achieve goals, simplify processes, reduce costs, prevent loss, and to ensure that work is completed safely, accurately, and on time

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

• BS in computer science, information systems or a related field or equivalent experience required

• Experience and working knowledge of Distribution Center and Supply Chain Systems and processes

• Hands-on experience with top tier warehouse management system (Manhattan and/or JDA preferred)

• Visual Studio C# and Visual Basic 6 Development experience desired

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and extended hours to support the business as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of syntax SQL (Standard Query Language) skills with the ability to understand relational data models

• Strong data analysis skills and ability to relate data to business processes

• Ability to exchange ideas and communicate effectively with others of varying technological knowledge using written and spoken English

• Ability to respond to related business needs as required during non-traditional, "on call" hours

• Proficient ability to work collaboratively with others; conduct working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization

• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

• Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify innovative solutions, including new products
