Job Description



Working with general supervision, the International Financial Analyst reports to the Manager of International BP&A and will work closely with the Sr. Analyst, the International Accounting team, and the individual country Finance & Accounting teams.  This position performs weekly sales reporting, month-end reporting, and monthly business analysis.  This role will assist in preparing and developing monthly reports, analyzing individual country financial data, and will perform ad hoc analysis and research as needed. The principal business outcome of this position is to provide management with accurate, timely business analysis and financial performance data for decision-making. The Analyst will interact with management and the Sr. Analyst regularly and requires a high level of independence and drive.


• Prepare and maintain weekly sales reporting

• Prepare month-end closing reports such as P&L summaries, Margin Analysis, Store Analysis, and Category Analysis

• Review financial results and key metrics of individual countries.  Perform variance analysis and respond to management questions during month and quarter end close.

• Assist with the quarterly forecasting process by reviewing the submitted forecasts, interpreting trends, and identifying opportunities/risks.

• Assist with the annual planning process

• Assist in the development and continuous improvement of financial models and tools for all international countries, including monthly business reports, forecasts, and annual budget

• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses related to store & country performance

• Manage relationships consistently and professionally across the organization; adhere to all organizational policies and procedures related to our respectful workplace

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Finance or Business program required

• 0 to 2 years of business analysis experience required

• Strong understanding of business concepts and tools (financial statements, break-even, cost benchmarking, NPV, ROI, etc.)


• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase preferred

• Experience with Financial Modeling preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Highly detail-oriented with a propensity for accuracy

• Quick learner, highly self-motivated, and goal oriented

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities

• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally across departments and supervisory levels, both domestically and internationally

• Ability to remain effective under stress, and respond to pressure in a professional manner acceptable to others and to the organization
