SUMMARY

Under general direction, the HRIS Analyst collaborates with global HR functional groups and inter-departmental business partners to recommend, define or configure Kronos Workforce Central to introduce efficiencies in manual processes and support strategic initiatives.  This position provides input on the selection of HR applications and works closely and collaboratively with others, and with HRIS team members, to lead project management for implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. The HRIS Analyst will assist with the documentation and maintenance of Kronos, ensure data integrity and security and the design/execution of complex reports by request.  Associates in this position will interact with a supervisor as needed by either, and to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require a supervisor’s advance approval but all routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.
 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Delivers requirements for Kronos and projects assigned by the Sr. Manager, HRIS in collaboration with his or her work with other HR leaders.
  • Gather business requirements from functional HR leaders, including tracking changes, analyzing proposed changes for impact to project schedules, coordinating review and approval of changes, revising any requirements documentation and User notification. 
  • Design and coordinate User Acceptance testing including coordination of resources, documentation of issues found and follow up through resolution.
  • Test requirements at all stages of the project, including functional validation and smoke testing of deliverables to ensure compliance with the functional requirements as specified.
  • Develop proficient knowledge on the front-end and back-end data systems that support and interact with Kronos, and the flow of data between those systems.
  • Design and maintain support team documentation; partner with in-country resources in the creation of training/ learning materials.
  • Develop complex custom reports utilizing varied and diverse data sources to support end-user requests and in continual audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Partner as needed with vendors and IT group in the development, testing, and rollout of integrations, interfaces, and upgrades.
  • Working with guidance from the Sr. Manager, HRIS, continually evaluate existing HR tools and processes; make recommendations for enhancements or improvements in support of strategic initiatives or as triggered by changes to available environments, technology, or business needs.
  • Collaborate with end-users, vendors, and IT as applicable in the configuration of new applications or systems.
  • Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization.
  • Successfully navigate relational and technical complexity in a rapidly evolving organizational environment characterized by high degrees of ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Recommend sustainable HR systems solutions to functional HR leaders to minimize risks and optimize risks related to HR data management, talent development, payroll, benefits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Network with HRIS professionals from non-competing organizations to identify and leverage best practices and other systems solutions that can be used by GME.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

•         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience required; Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred

•         At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in HRIS, systems integration/ maintenance/ development, with proficient working knowledge of general business and HR practices required
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

•         Proficient academic and practical knowledge of technology and how it is applied to solve HR systems challenges

•         Expert understanding of Kronos Workforce Central

•         Working knowledge of general Human Resources including familiarity with multiple functional areas (Compliance/ ER, Org Development, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll)

•         Proficient knowledge of implementation and design of enterprise-scale HR applications, including business process redesign and user interface mapping, testing and deployment

•         Proven proficiency with process / data analysis and technical document creation

•         Proficient in a variety of business applications and report generating tools including relational database concepts, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL and demonstrated expertise with Kronos reporting

•         The capacity to embrace the vision for the end goal or project deliverable, including a determined commitment to project completion, working with others.

•         Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English

•         Proficient ability by interfacing with the system environment to analyze business operations and perform post-implementation support and validation
