SUMMARY

Working with general supervision, the Visual Merchandising Production Artist will assist the visual merchandising team in the production process from the beginning to the end and includes photo cloning, illustration, plan-o-gram documentation and administrative support. Utilizes Adobe Suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and additional systems to complete job functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

•         Retouch and edit digital files using color correction, clipping and other current file manipulation and enhancement techniques

•         Produce, edit, optimize, and deliver coordinated materials accurately and on time

•         Must be able to change priorities to meet deadlines

•         Implement copy and visual changes as directed

•         Adhere to strict brand guidelines and template usage

•         Layout merchandising plan-o-grams (POG) and product presentations

•         Organize and maintain creative file management protocols

•         Communicates with merchandising, creative, marketing, and other support areas on a regular basis

•         Collaborate with visual team members taking concepts from initial exploration through development, refinement, and final production

•         Manage daily work flow and deadlines and execute share of daily jobs.

•         Exhibits active listening, verbal and communications skills to elicit sufficient facts and details to clarify requests and provide meaningful information, products and/or services to the requester while meeting production schedules and deadlines

•         Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization; adhere consistently with all organizational policies related to our respectful workplace

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

•         Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or trade school equivalent

•         Cinema 4D or another 3D experience preferred, but not required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

•         Expert ability to create in, Adobe Creative Suite (CS5, CS6, or CC), Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Professional, PowerPoint, MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook

•         Proficient ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and under tight deadlines

•         Proficient attention to detail

•         Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English

•         Proficient ability to work collaboratively with others; conduct working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization

•         Proficient ability to remain effective under stress, and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization

•         Proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

•         Demonstrated ability to model customer-focused behaviors leading to outstanding customer experiences
