SUMMARY

Working with close supervision, the Loss Prevention Administrator assists in the development of the sales team operational procedures to reduce shrinkage, increase safety and protect assets.   They ensure all retail locations inventory is adjusted regularly, review and complete LP zendesk tickets, and train and follow up on store operational issues.  Associate will interact with his or her supervisor frequently during each work period. Nearly all but the most routine activities will require a supervisor’s advance approval.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

•        Auto receive store to store transfers at 14 days


•        Train store managers on their inventory responsibilities & procedures


•        Assist store managers to become experts in inventory counts & performing recounts, rebalance transfers, defective transfers- including RMA paperwork and accessory liquidation process


•        Oversee store SOX fiscal inventory counts, report audit summaries to management, and help develop a plan of action for stores who fail to meet minimum standards


•        Train with Game Stop loss prevention administrative team


•        Initiate and schedule loss prevention updates and trainings during district manager and store manager meetings in specific areas of concern. 


•        Assist the loss prevention field team identify at risk locations for high losses in shrinkage, theft, NEXT & HYLA, and fraud. Assist in the investigations of employees who perform fraudulent sales, and report and follow up on suspicious practices or invoices uncovered when auditing locations and reviewing DVRs footage. 


•        Complete all zendesk tickets for your assigned market


•        Adjust weekly store inventory counts, including the follow up verification email to the store


•        Place work-orders for all LP maintenance requests


•        Place work-orders for all store security requests, including alarm and camera orders, 3Si, alarm code changes etc.


•        Evaluate and repurpose 3Si equipment as necessary


•        Highlight at risk stores for LP field team and sales leadership


•        Travel to new acquisitions and perform LP & Inventory assessment for locations in your subdivision of the country


•        Apply the appropriate stage of leadership based on the employee’s competency level: directing, coaching, supporting, or delegating


•        Apply the appropriate level of praise and discipline; document all verbal warnings and disciplinary actions on the Employee Action Form and file with Human Resources

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)


•        BS/BA degree in Business Management or equivalent or additional work experience may be required in substitution


•        1 year of Loss Prevention retail experience required


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES


•        Proficient skills working with Microsoft Excel


•        Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products and Windows Operating Systems


•        Must be able to work overtime as required


•        Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members


•        Expert ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals


•        Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
