SUMMARY

Under general supervision, the Project Manager initiates, manages, coordinates and completes assigned projects. This is the first of its kind role with Spring Mobile. The role will be responsible for establishing a level of sophistication around project support. This involves the establishment and adherence to the organization’s project culture, overall business objectives project schedules, definition of scope, identification of staffing needs, estimation of time & effort, and communication of project status.  Associate interacts with his or her supervisor occasionally during the week, to receive guidance and feedback. Many non-routine activities will require a supervisor’s advance approval.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Develop program plans and schedules to ensure proper coordination between all program elements, multiple departments, key stakeholders and the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Monitor and communicate the status of cost, schedule and task completion to ensure transparency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide routine communication regarding project status and coordinate with multiple leaders, business owners, and staff to ensure ongoing alignment.
  •  Conduct effective day-to-day communication with all project stakeholders and business owners.
  • Coordinate and mange routine status meting updates and facilitate other project meetings as needed.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the preparation of presentation materials for internal reviews.
  • Mange the conduct of such meetings and reviews.
  • Prepare regular status reports to all stakeholders, which provide visibility for program issues and risks.
  • Develop templates, business cadence and culture of collaboration, coordination and communication with stakeholders and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Assist in the preparation of fact-finding and negotiations to ensure completeness from a program management viewpoint.
  • Assist teams in achieving program initiatives.
  • Develop project schedule, contingency plan, resource estimates, financial tracking and adhere to and follow a defined project management process.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Information Technology or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of project management experience required
  • Project Management Certification(s) preferred

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Proficient ability to work with executive leaders
  • Proficient knowledge of standard project management practices
  • Proficient knowledge of  project management software such as MS Project
  • Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease
  • Proficient relationship building skills, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the organization, and leverage influential leadership
