Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Performance Marketing will need to balance working independently with larger cross-functional workstreams to drive connectivity across the marketing and merchandising team through data.  Success for this team member will be defined by the growth of our acquisition programs through trend analysis, opportunity identification and fast-paced insight extraction.  The ideal candidate should be able to take ambiguous direction and breakdown complex problems through concise translation to the business owners within the performance marketing team.





Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Identify trends across a portfolio of media investments, determine outcomes and build stories around complex datasets
  • Work cross-functionally across marketing, finance, brand and IT to support new customer growth across performance tactics
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements for developing dashboards and reports showcasing performance metrics that will help drive key business decisions
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights
  • Challenge the status quo by digging into the “why” behind all business requirements/asks
  • Drive performance marketing testing strategy across tactics by supporting channel owners with new ideation, sizing, analysis and execution
  • Contribute to development and refinement of marketing hypothesis to continually fuel a testing backlog with the objective of improving core KPIs
  • Utilize PowerBI, Google Data Studio and GBQ to analyze and bu
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or related field
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in at least one of: SQL/ R/ Python/ Matlab/ Stata/ VBA
  • Extensive experience with GBQ or similar
  • Candidate must be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strength in data, metrics, and performance marketing is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
