Position Title:                          Senior Engineer, Workday Integrations

Position Location:                   625 Westport Pkwy, Grapevine, TX 76051   

Days/Hours:                            Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm


Summary of Duties:


  • Support/modify Workday integrations at a senior level
  • Develop and support existing store system applications and future store system applications using Windows Presentation Foundation and Windows Communication Foundation.
  • Analyze, design, develop, maintain, monitor and support complex applications within the store systems environment and implement robust, maintainable solutions that meet the established business requirements.
  • Establish and enforce software development best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical and project documentation.
  • Develop test plans and work with QA to establish test processes.
  • Provide recommendation to management, based on current and emerging technologies, on methods to reduce costs, improve performance and availability, and reduce administration time for GameStop store information systems.
  • Research, test, and apply all applicable patches.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.


Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:


  • Workday configuration and integration;
  • XSLT;
  • MS SQL and SQL Server;
  • Web Services, REST and SOAP;
  • Visio;
  • Agile Development methodologies; and
  • Basic software implementation methodology concepts.
