Job Description



Under general supervision, the Omnichannel Visual Merchandising Specialist II coordinates and executes merchandising for GameStop’s digital initiatives in order to achieve key performance goals and a world-class consumer experience. The E-commerce Merchandising Coordinator maintains multiple merchandising calendars, reviews key performance indicators daily and makes appropriate suggestions and changes to merchandising content. This position acts as a leader and mentor for the Merchandising Specialist and works with the management team to optimize merchandising on the homepage, storefront, and marketing landing pages. An associate in this position may interact with his or her supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require a supervisor’s advance approval.


  • Perform daily site merchandising according to merchandising calendars, guidance from management and individual analysis.
  • Works closely with the merchandising teams to help facilitate conversations and find new opportunities with our publisher and vendor partners. 
  • Manages the relationships with our advertising agencies to maximize profits and drive new revenue channels
  • Leads the day to day operations of the visual merchandising team with a focus on the customer experience and increasing online sales
  • Works with indirect procurement and ensures all contracts are accurate and paid on time.
  • Provide excellent consumer experience by ensuring proper implementation of links, copy and navigation path.
  • Achieve add-to-cart and conversion goals by providing promotional feedback and recommendations to management.
  • Interface with multiple departments to prioritize, schedule and execute merchandising.
  • Provide merchandising recommendations to management based on analysis of on-site analytics.
  • Gather, maintain and share Merchandising calendars with appropriate parties and departments including Store Operations, Customer Service and Fulfillment.
  • Performs data entry including organizing and uploading retail data into various systems for merchandising purposes.

  • 5 or more years of related experience required
  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree with a related field of study required; at least two years of additional related work experience may be considered in substitution
  • At least one year of e-commerce experience preferred


  • Working knowledge of basic HTML
  • Working knowledge of FTP and file editor applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
